Overview

Tallysman Wireless’ TW1500 Embedded Globalstar Antenna is a dual-feed OEM device, which includes left-hand circularly polarized passive antenna and magnetic mount. It is conceived for enhancing Globalstar Simplex Transmit Unit (STU) modem performance.

The TW1500’s dual-feed wideband patch element provides outstanding axial ratio across the complete Globalstar bandwidth. Compared to single-feed antennas, the unit enables great multipath rejection and circular transmission response over the Globalstar band.

Built into the TW1500 is a circular ground plane measuring 35mm in diameter. However, the best performance is gained when this is enhanced with a reflecting surface or local system ground plane.

Applications include sea and land container tracking, military and security, marine and avionics systems, law enforcement and public safety, fleet management and asset tracking. The company helps OEMs integrate the product into end-user solutions.
