Tallysman Wireless’ TW1600 Embedded Iridium Antenna is a dual-feed OEM device, which includes a right-hand circularly polarized passive antenna and magnetic mount. It is conceived for Improving communication signal-to-noise when accessing the Iridium satellite network.

The TW1500’s dual-feed wideband patch element provides outstanding axial ratio across the complete Iridium bandwidth. Compared to single-feed antennas, the unit enables great multipath rejection and circular transmission response over the Iridium band.

Built into the TW1600 is a circular ground plane measuring 35mm in diameter. However, the best performance is gained when this is enhanced with a reflecting surface or local system ground plane.

Applications include sea and land container tracking, military and security, marine and avionics systems, law enforcement and public safety, fleet management and asset tracking. The company helps OEMs integrate the product into end-user solutions.
