Overview
The high-gain TW3370/TW3372 antenna from Tallysman Wireless receives G1 GLONASS, L1 GPS and SBAS signals over its frequency band (1575-to-1606 MHz). Unlike competitors, the TW3370/TW3372 offers a 40 percent wider patch element bandwidth than formerly available. The antenna also touts the ability to receive both GPS/GLONASS signals over a bandwidth of 1dB.
The unit also features a three-stage low-noise amplifier as well as mid-section SAW. Optionally, the tight TW3372 pre-filter guards against the undesirable saturation caused by L-Band signals as well as high-level sub-harmonics. This makes it especially useful for timing applications.
The TW3370/TW3372 is enclosed in an industrial-grade radome. Its metal base contains a 19mm through-hole. There are also two options for pole mounting.
Applications include timing applications, fixed installations as well as cost-sensitive and mission-critical positioning.
