Tallysman’s TW4020 is a wideband GNSS antenna of commercial grade for covering the L1 GPS and SBAS (EGNOS/MSAS/WAAS) frequency band (1572.5 to 1578 MHz). Compared with similar antennas, it offers a 40 percent wider bandwidth thanks to its small patch element.
Besides its ceramic patch element, which is custom tuned for high performance, the TW4020 has a two-stage low-noise/high-gain amplifier with high-rejection mid-section SAW filter and 15 KV ESD circuit protection. It also offers excellent polarized circular signal reception.
Despite the wider bandwidth, this device is one of the smallest high-performance antennas on the market. It is contained in an IP67 plastic enclosure and is provided with a magnetic mount.
Applications include covert surveillance, fleet management and asset tracking, and cost-sensitive positioning.
