Overview

Tallysman’s TW4027/TW4029 GNSS antenna is commercial grade, consumes little power and covers the frequency band for GPS L1 signals. It employs a low-noise amplifier and consumes only 2mA current. Supply voltage is from 2.5V to 15V during constant performance. The antenna is protected against L-band communicating antennas like Globalstar and Iridium when they are close at hand.

Although the TW4027/TW4029 consumes less power than most comparable antennas, it still offers 21dB nominal gain and outstanding noise level. A 40 percent wider bandwidth provides good axial ratio. Circuit protection is 15 KV ESD.

The TW4029 type is equipped with a “brick-wall” pre-filter. This shields against saturation by L-Band signals and sub-harmonics. Housing complies with IP67 standard, includes magnetic mount and includes cable plus connectors.

Applications include Satcom-based AVL solutions, asset tracking, fleet management, covert surveillance and battery-operated monitoring.
