Overview

Tallysman’s TW4500 is an inexpensive, dual-feed, left-hand circularly polarized antenna used on the frequency bands 1610 to 1620 MHz. It enhances Globalstar Simplex Transmit Unit modem performance.

The unit’s dual-feed, wideband patch element supplies outstanding axial ratio over the complete Globalstar bandwidth. Because of its dual-feed capability, it offers great multipath rejection and true circular communication response.

Tallysman provides the smallest antennas available on the market. Like other antennas from the manufacturer, the TW4500 is enclosed in an IP67 housing provided with a magnetic mount. It comes with 50 cm coaxial cable so that it can be mounted out of the weather and still give high performance.

Applications include law enforcement, public safety, marine and avionics systems, fleet management and asset tracking, military, security, sea and land container tracking, plus all Simplex Transmit Unit uses.
