The IMU-P, the professional versions of the Inertial Labs Inertial Measurement Units, each contain 3 highly accurate advanced MEMS gyroscopes and 3 high performance accelerometers. The IMU-P is cost-effective and ITAR-free solution. It can be configured from 3 different models: IMU-P Industrial, IMU-P Tactical (Stabilization) and IMU-P Tactical (Standard).
The IMU-P is a solution for systems that may have previously only used Fiber-Optic Gyroscopes (FOG’s) as the primary solution. By using extensive calibration methods and developing a robust Kalman Filter, Inertial Labs developed the IMU-P to compete in performance with many FOG units on the market.

To achieve maximum usability for end-users the IMU-P is temperature calibrated within its operational temperature range. This also ensures tactical grade performance regardless of the environment it is being used in.
